Here’s how you can help raise DECK, a space for photography and ideas set in shipping containers.
September 3rd, 2014
DECK is a ground up initiative conceived by 2902 Gallery. It’s a space for people and photography – a resource room with a comprehensive collection of art books and materials to inspire, and an incubator for new ideas and creations to come to fruition. And it’s all housed in shipping containers.
A year later, DECK has been born, and its founders are inviting you to join them in the last lap of their journey.
As a non-commercial and independent arts space, DECK is not only meant as an addition to the local art scene, but an alternative platform for photography in Singapore and the region.
A total of $440,000 is required to lay the foundation, fabricate basic fittings, lay the connections and purchase equipment and furnishing. After factoring in donations from individuals, SGD$250,000 remains to completion.
Every contribution, no matter how big or small, counts, say the organisers. Find out how you can contribute at Indiegogo.
