Woods Bagot creates study spaces for the modern student at Sydney’s University of Technology.
May 10th, 2011
Woods Bagot’s study spaces in Blocks A and B of UTS’ Haymarket campus cater for the next generation of student.
A fluid, informal environment encourages workshopping, collaboration, conversation and self-directed study.
Colourful, comfortable study areas are fitted out with SMART boards, wi-fi and plasma screens.
“Inherent to the design is the University’s requirement to incorporate a ’sticky campus’ mentality – providing spaces where students can socialise, relax and study,” said Georgia Singleton, Principal of Woods Bagot and Education Specialist.
The spaces were developed after consultation with UTS students, “to understand and capture student needs and align this with the design vision,” said Singleton.
