North Melbourne welcomes a new collection of residences, Reflections by Revel Development Group, that sees a new level of luxury living overlooking the Gardiner Reserve.
December 10th, 2015
Designed inside and out by Plus Architecture, Reflections stands as a unique response to the project’s park-side location. Defined by the striking 14m high, mirrored glass façade that reflects the greenery surrounding the building, the striking nature of the building’s exterior allows the development to organically connect with its surroundings, and change in form with the shifting seasons.
The green notes and implied senses of nature and tranquillity is continued inside, with the lobby being designed as cluster of trees and leaves. Undulating timber walls take the form of tree trunks under a ceiling that uses a recurring leaf pattern.
This attention to detail is replicated with the apartments themselves, which features metallic detailing throughout, as a means of replicating the reflective mirror of the building’s exterior.
Oak timber flooring throughout, and recessed window furnishings have the rooms entirely creating a luxury lifestyle experience, while expansive balconies serve as openings to the wider Melbourne area, and the leafy surrounds of the building.
Reflections has been designed with lifestyle in mind, and each apartment has owner-occupiers as the intended residents, who will also enjoy a 300sq m podium level rooftop garden.
