October 10th, 2008
‘POST’ in Potts Point, Sydney, is a $53 million project designed by high-profile architects Burley Katon Halliday. Developers, Ashington, have just announced the ‘new ‘POST’ Market and restaurant space in the lower ground floor retail area.
Designed by Mark Landini (Landini Designs), the market is set to attract a range of boutique lifestyle retailers including florists, fresh food retailers and cafes. The warehouse-style space also has the potential for al fresco dining via additional outdoor seating.
“Potts Point is becoming an exciting lifestyle precinct with boutique shopping and fine dining. It is becoming world-class and is up there with the likes of its sister suburbs in London and New York,” says Craig Minahan, Ashington’s Executive Director.
On the site of the old Potts Point Post office, the five level ‘POST’ houses 41 strata offices, seven premium street side retail spaces and lower ground retail.
