To position the practice for the future, Carr, one of Australia’s most highly awarded Architecture and Interior Design Practices, is celebrating new leadership appointments in the promotion of David Brooks, Lucy Cuthbertson, Stephen McGarry and Aaron Wooster to Associate positions. The expanded leadership group strengthens Carr’s capacity to deliver Architecture and Interiors of an exceptional standard both within Australia and Internationally. Each appointment has been made in recognition of design excellence, a strong commitment to client relationships and a proven track record in delivering successful outcomes.
David Brooks | Associate David is a talented Architect and team leader with over 16 years’ experience on projects diverse in scale and typology, providing a key understanding of the dynamics of all project phases. His approach is highly crafted and considered from conception to completion. Among David’s key projects is a soon to be completed boutique hotel in Melbourne’s Domain precinct.
Lucy Cuthbertson | Associate Lucy is actively growing the bespoke residential and multi residential architectural work for the practice, having built a strong reputation for classic, modern design. Lucy’s contribution to client service, design development and project delivery has been significant across a number of major projects throughout Australia.
Stephen McGarry | Associate Stephen has been instrumental in the delivery of Carr’s architecture portfolio over the past 3 years. Stephen’s approach to architecture and comprehensive resolution of design detail demonstrates an extensive understanding of the fundamentals and underlying principles of a project. This is evidenced most recently with the launch of Jackalope Hotel, Mornington Peninsula providing an architectural outcome coordinated and delivered to the highest of standards.
Aaron Wooster | Associate Aaron brings over 10 years of knowledge and experience to the interior design discipline. He has led, and successfully delivered, projects across a diverse range of residential and multi residential developments, including the highly successful Essence Apartments in Double Bay Sydney, the premium Walsh Street Apartment development in Melbourne’s South Yarra and the landmark residential development, Parkville. It will be a year of evolution for Carr with much growth coming from our ability to offer a comprehensive Architecture and Interior Design Service. Since launching Carr Architecture, Carr has seen the benefits to clients of the cost efficiencies, speed to market and innovation that an integrated design service can provide. Having secured several major projects this year across the key sectors of Hospitality, Commercial, Education and Multi Residential, the recognition of this talent marks the next chapter in Carr’s growth and reinforces our ability to design and deliver refined and enduring architecture and interiors.
