Recently re-opened for business following an 3-year redevelopment, Top Ryde City boasts one of the largest food courts in NSW.

Despite its size, the area communicates a level of design not common to food courts in major shopping centres, thanks to the major use of botton + gardiner urban furniture throughout.

Featuring the new Skokis chair, the fitout also includes a full range of manufactured and custom pieces, including Corian tables, Ned chairs, Kelly stools, communal high bars and curved and straight banquette seating; as well as functional elements such as bin and tray returns and cleaner’s stations.

Architects Lend Lease Design, on behalf of the developer, the Beville Group, specified botton + gardiner from the outset as the single supplier of furniture for the food court area.

This project marks a continuation of a highly successful partnership, making this the 30th the two companies have collaborated on.

In this case, b+g’s design capabilities made them the perfect choice for the large-scale project.

The team was able to provide a dynamic furniture solution that created smaller hubs in the 1,800 square metre food court area, while the custom development of Skokis added unique personality to the space.

botton + gardiner continue to build a strong reputation in food court furniture supply, with Top Ryde City the latest in a string of major shopping centre fitouts including metcentre in Sydney and Robina Town Centre in Queensland.
