Launched by Brintons in collaboration with Stacy Garcia, the Urban Nomad collection is a nouveau boho inspired carpet range.
December 11th, 2015
The seventh collaboration between Brintons and Garcia, Urban Nomad is a new carpet line that channels international design influences from around the globe. The collection highlights a striking and authentic blend of organic paisleys, ornamental medallions, and combines these with henna inspired motifs.
Recalling the effect of a kaleidoscope, layers of clashing colours fall on one another and adorn the free flowing base displays contained in each design. Not bound by conventional rules, Urban Nomad tests the boundaries of traditional carpet design practices to present a boldly alternative and striking collection.
“Urban Nomad goes back to our roots—a journey that showcases alluring colours, individuality, and eccentricity,” says Stacy Garcia. “With this new collection, we took design influence from the wanderlust of the global traveler and the boldness of the 1970’s nonconformist. We expect the collection to be successful in the international markets that Brintons sells to.”
“Urban Nomad is a throwback of our very first work with Stacy,” says Nadia Burton, Design Director from Brintons Americas. “We really wanted to emulate the deep, rich, velvet textures and exquisite ornamental detail captured in Nouveau Boho. The result is a decadent, opulent medley of carpet designs to compliment today’s interiors.”
