IXL’s sleek tastic neo three in one: heat, vent and light has again raised the bar in ventilation solutions with the incorporation of energy efficient led down lights.
May 8th, 2014
For IXL who designed, engineered and manufactured Tastic Neo in Geelong where they have been innovating since 1858, the upgrade from CFL to LED lighting is part of the company’s ongoing commitment to investment into research of consumer requirements and new technologies. Tastic Neo’s switch to LED lights reaffirm IXL as the market leader and trailblazer in three-in-one bathroom units.
In operation, the benefits of LED globes are vast. The IXL Tastic Neo energy-saving LED globe is water tight- a feature that prevents moisture from steam – damaging lamp electronics. This makes Tastic Neo the perfect suitor for wet/steamy areas like bathrooms.
Tastic Neo’s are ultra efficient. LEDs use 30-50% less energy than a comparable CFL and 80-90% less energy than a comparable Halogen light. Also, a conservative estimate of 25,000-30,000 hours lifespan for the Tastic Neo’s LED globe will appeal to homeowners who appreciate a low maintenance lifestyle.
Importantly, Tastic Neo globes are environmentally considerate and fully recyclable. For improved safety, LEDs are mercury free.
