Connect the Dots with Glass Gradients from Skyline

The design plays with two basic geometric forms, a dot and a square, repeating these and combined with elements of transparency, variable gradients, and color transitions. The resulting custom designer glass landscapes can be restrained or exuberant, matching or distinctive.

This new collection marks the first collaboration between Skyline Design and Scholten & Baijings and has been designed to add dimensionality to spaces through the creation of a dialogue of sorts between the simplicity of the patterns and levels of transparency, creating unique optical effects.

This dialogue is made possible through Skyline Design’s innovative glass techniques and pattern design. By repeating the simple Dot and Square designs, which can be employed either horizontally or vertically, the density and scale of the glass can be customised to allow for varying levels of privacy.

Scholten & Baijings’ work is known for its sophisticated yet unpretentious and approachable design. Decoration has always been at the core of their design philosophy and is brought to the fore with patterns that have been refined and balanced. Glass Gradients encourages playful use and customisation within a space. Pattern, gradient, color, and placement are in the hands of the designer, who can convey a sense of surprise and movement through concealing or revealing a spatial context.
