Eero Aarnio’s latest release is a lively, rolling armchair that puts a new spin on casual seating for indoors and out.
July 2nd, 2013
The latest from Spanish manufacturer, VONDOM, is a trans-European affair with Finland’s master of the plastic mould, Eero Aarnio, presenting Roulette.Roulette is a study in creating a singular form that serves as seat and support in one moulded piece, reminiscent of the collections Aarnio famously released in the 1960’s.

Roulette only meets the ground at one constant point, its centre. The resultant effect is similar to a spinning top. The occupant of the globular design can, in the distribution of their weight and use of feet, control the gentle revolving motion of the chair and at once engages with the piece.

Choose from a suite of vibrant colours or sleek sophisticated options, they choices are then further enhanced by the choice of lacquer or matte finish.Playful and generously proportioned, the Roulette armchair is perfectly suited to relaxed outdoor environments.
