From manufacturing through to the specification of their products, the compan is committed to sustainable practices and reducing their environmental impact ñ as well as providing economical and functional fabrics. Their unique patented technology converts raw materials into non-woven fabric in a high-speed process, quite different from the traditional woven fabric structures, ensuring consistency and immediacy of supply. Since its inception in 2000, RIM Fabrics has been engaged in developing cost-effective fabrics that meet the various needs of architects and designers by constantly researching colour and design trends across the globe. The companyís first collection of textiles was focused on vertical surface applications but this range has recently been extended to a new generation of innovative upholstery textile designs.

RIM Fabrics is committed to responsible environmental practices, with an ongoing objective to research new processes and raw materials in order to lessen the environmental impact of new products. All fabrics are fully recyclable and the manufacturing operation has recently implemented ëleaní manufacturing systems in order to minimise waste. All fabrics meet the Green Building Council of Australiaís Green Star – Office Interiorsí compliance requirements. All production, including manufacture, dyeing and finishing, is undertaken inhouse and conducted under ISO 9002 Quality Standards and ISO 14001 Environmental Standards. The companyís Environmental Compliance Testing Report can be viewed on the RIM Fabrics website.
