The result of a timeless craft, the Potter Lights by Bruce Rowe bring a new respect to the art of ceramic pottery.

Melbourne based artist and architect Bruce Rowe’s hand thrown ceramic pendant Potter Lights play with aesthetics in highly unique ways.

What began as Bruce’s sideline to architecture, has blossomed over recent years to the production of a beautiful range of hand crafted ceramics. Working from a dedicated ceramics studio in the Pop & Scott Workshop in Northcote, the Potter Lights are Rowe’s first offering available to the public, available through Insitu.

Each with their own unique character, all the Potter Lights are hand glazed, both externally and internally, and are available in a textured charcoal exterior and white glaze interior, or an all white interior and exterior.

The design is offered in three different sizes: 145mm high x 150mm diameter / 160mm high x 250mm diameter / 200mm high x 320mm diameter.

The lights are also designed as a shade and come supplied with appropriate fittings and cord, available in gold, black and black and white fleck.

Rowe has always believed that design and creativity have a key role to play in the creation of an ethical and sustainable future for our community and the planet. And dis approach to architecture and design integrates this critical ethos, manifesting itself in the paintings, sculptures, and buildings he has produced over the last 20 years.
