Designed around building a healthier more productive workplace, Planex has unveiled their new Sydney showroom in Erskinevile.

The airy site, with its industrial aesthetic and natural flooring, offers an ideal location for clients to explore Planex’s range of product solutions. Different activity-based styles such as flexible sit and stand desks, casual meeting areas, collaborative hubs, quiet areas and end-of-journey locker storage are presented within the environment.

To inspire wellness in the workplace xLocker2 offers a wall of white perforated and veneer door lockers for storing gym gear and bike helmets. As you enter the space a second wall of activity-based lockers acts as a room divider and provides the added convenience of both personal storage and the ability to recharge laptops and iPads in between use.

Personal and communal storage such as the acoustic-rated Linea Sliding Door, Flox Planters, Virtu & Fatfile Cabinets, Freefold Screens, X-System Shelves and Wishbone Tables are displayed in a monochromatic palette of black, white, silver and veneer.

Featuring Christopher Boots handmade lighting and Derlot’s Prisma chair, the showroom aims to promote mutually beneficial relationships between designers and manufacturers. Another example of design cross-pollination can be seen in Alexander Lotersztain’s Freefold punch pattern accents, originally created for the Freefold Screen, which are scattered across the product ranges displayed.
