“It’s not a super symmetrical shape – it depends on the point of view,” muses Florian Kallus of TON.

The base shape falls somewhere between a circle, oblong and triangle, with rounded edges that are definitely sisters, not twins, with two heights, three base types and six tabletop shapes, any interior makes the perfect home for a P.O.V table – domestic, commercial, or hospitality. The range’s versatility is further expanded with finishes in three types of wood: beech, oak and American walnut, as well as various colours. P.O.V. also offers a playful take on the dining stool, in a stackable form for easy storage.

Sebastian Schneider, kaschkasch designer, considered how the P.O.V. collection would work with other pieces with different design directions when creating the tables.

“Our main goal was to design tables that would fit with the company’s current portfolio but also bring something new. The conical shape of the table base contrasts the fine lines of bentwood furniture,” Sebastian adds.
