Driven by a creative passion, founder Jeremy Lee designs sustainable furniture imbued with a sense of honesty.
“This year has been full of change and new adventures, and with the support of my amazing wife and family, leaving my job and embarking on JD.Lee Furniture feels like the right thing to do,” says Jeremy Lee on the founding of JD.Lee
JD.Lee Furniture’s philosophy is driven through a holistic approach pieces. From the design process and material selection to machining and finishing JD.Lee adopts processes like life cycle analysis to make the minimal impact on the environment and ensure a sustainable future of the pieces.
“We believe in buying less, so we design for durability,” says Jeremy Lee, “We are aware that life can be busy and regularly moving house is common, so we try to design for disassembly to ease this process, and further encourage the longevity of our furniture.”
That quality has no substitute and that throwaway culture deserves just that, to be thrown away, drives JD.Lee Furniture’s brand.
