Innovation, beauty, and wellbeing collide in this new range of wellness-powered surfaces
November 1st, 2024
For over 35 years, Caesarstone has been supplying industry with pioneering surfaces. Their range has been specified across award-winning projects in Australia and beyond, creating durable and beautiful design features as benchtops and custom furniture pieces. However, over the last 12 months the stone industry has had a shakeup, with the well-documented engineered stone ban raising questions on how architects and designers can achieve the same statement looks in a safer way.
Maintaining their position as industry leaders, Caesarstone has answered these calls, launching a new Mineral Crystalline Silica-Free product that has the durability, strength, versatility, and aesthetics that Caesarstone is renowned for, without the presence of Crystalline Silica.
The result of significant research and development, this new product is the next generation of surface design, meeting government regulations without compromising on quality, look, and feel. The formulation is a unique mix of natural minerals along with innovative recycled materials such as glass. This breakthrough composition means the Caesarstone Mineral™ range can be specified as engineered stone was, lending the same finish whilst prioritising health, wellbeing, and sustainability.
In fact, both the traditional product and new range are manufactured in the same way, with the difference coming from the change in raw material; from the artificial base of engineered stone, to the natural elements of Caesarstone Mineral™. Accordingly, this range has been quality tested and assured to meet the highest quality and fabrication standards synonymous with the Caesarstone name, passing rigorous industry and safety testing including XRD tests and the Hazard and Human Health Risk Assessment (HHRA).
From an aesthetic perspective, the Mineral range will include 33 of Caesarstone’s best selling designs, with 20 colours already landed and available to specify. These colours come in a mix of five different finishes: Concrete, Honed, Natural. Polished and Rough, opening up endless design possibilities and appealing to all typologies. Moving forward, the complete collection will be available in Grande slab sizes (3,240 x 1,640mm x 20mm), allowing for statement creations to be made in spaces ranging from home kitchens, to maximised commercial designs.
Despite having more flexibility and applications than ever before, the new launch also marks a reduction in wholesale prices, with the change in the core materiality and associated production capabilities meaning Caesarstone is able to pass on a cost saving at wholesale, which can be passed on to the end consumer. Along with this, their standard Lifetime Warranty has been passed on to all Mineral surface designs, resulting in a safer and more accessible product that is guaranteed for performance and longevity.

For the past three decades, Caesarstone has built a legacy off a product range that shapes the spaces it is put into, creating surfaces off which residential, commercial, and retail environments can thrive. Through the years, their commitment to sustainability and the safety of customers and partners has guided their ethos, and this same mantra has led them to create a product that has this at its core; combining quality and innovation to create designer surfaces that keep people safe.
