Prototype Commercial Furniture presents the Cantilever Armchair from Italian Furniture House, EMU.
July 9th, 2012
EMU delivers an inspiring range of outdoor furniture with its Classic wired collection, perfect for the Australian lifestyle and climate. Great for the hospitality industry as the range is hard wearing and attractive.
The Cantilever combines EMU’s manufacturing tradition with its vocation for experimenting with design to produce an extremely comfortable chair giving an oscillating effect. The range has been developed on the basis of the lightness and transparency of the frames appearing to cradle the sitter and includes an armchair, a low armchair, a large rectangular table and a sun lounger.
The Cantilever range was inspired by the idea of a chair made entirely of iron, with an overhanging structure, to create a product that is lightweight and strong. Prototype Commercial Furniture can aesthetically compliment the chair with custom upholstery.
