Cloud, designed and developed by the Zenith Design Studio and manufactured in Australia, is a system of organic pod formations, with a soft aesthetic, that moves away from rigid office structures and creates desirable and inviting quiet spaces for work environments.
February 26th, 2016
There are currently six standard pod formations: Burst; Host; Formation; Array; Street and Avenue. Cloud Burst and Street pods provide areas for when focussed concentration is required, while Cloud Street and Avenue can be used for touchdown or transit users. Cloud Formation and Array provide various sizes for shared communication or can also be used for housing utilities like photocopiers and printers.
Using standard formations, designers can plan environments with continuous flowing configurations or stand-alone pods, and pod elements can also be used to create custom formations. In this way, employees get the benefit of optimal work spaces that suit their specific activities and tasks. Cloud pod formations allow users to work collaboratively in teams or via multi-media and privately in their own booths for quiet focussed work. The space saving Cloud formations also means more room for touch-down pods for short stay or workers in transit.
Cloud’s unique form comprises minimal elements that are simple to install, are lightweight and can be reconfigured to meet changing needs. The panels absorb sound and help with the acoustics of an open work environment. Panels are made using EchoPanel® that has a high percentage of recycled and recyclable materials with low VOC’s, is Geca certified, and supports a healthy workplace.
