Chromatic Cadence by GH Commercial is a new carpet tile range from the Mohawk Group that is inspired by creativity in all shapes.

The creative process behind Chromatic Cadence – a new Mohawk Group carpet tile range from GH Commercial – is as vibrant as the product itself. The design team drew inspiration from Yvette, an army veteran and artist from Art Lifting, whose unique approach begins with music.
“Yvette’s use of colour and expression has been translated into a subtle pattern in this carpet range. The team at Mohawk Group listened to blues and jazz, and each colour in the range is named after the songs and lyrics discovered during this process,” explains Penny Granger, Queensland sales manager at GH Commercial.
Chromatic Cadence is designed to enhance a variety of interior spaces with its versatile colour palette, ranging from neutrals to vibrant hues. “This range offers designers a real mix of options,” Penny notes. Plus, with Designer Jet® technology, including Colour on Tap and Precision Dye Injection, these Australian-made tiles can be used across numerous applications.
A special aspect of launching this range in the Australian market is GH Commercial’s commitment to supporting local artists and communities as part of their Believe in Better® approach to business. Just as the Mohawk Group supported Yvette and the charity group Art Lifting, GH Commercial has partnered with the genU Arts Program, an organisation that celebrates and supports artists with disabilities.
As part of the launch and a commitment to giving back locally, GH Commercial will donate $1 per square metre sold to the genU arts program. This ongoing donation will help to support many of genU’s arts programs, including the James Street Gallery, a public gallery in the heart of Geelong where artists come and create each day. This initiative not only supports local artists but also enhances the community’s creative spirit.
Both genU and GH Commercial are businesses founded in Geelong, and both are deeply connected to the local community. GH Commercial takes pride in its local manufacturing processes. “While we are a global company, we always find ways to bring it local through manufacturing and initiatives,” Penny states. GH Commercial’s warehouse continues to operate, ensuring that products from the Mohawk Group reach the local market.
Chromatic Cadence brought to you by GH Commercial under the Mohawk Group brand, is more than just a range of carpet tiles – it’s a celebration of colour, music and artistry. Through innovative design and community partnerships, GH Commercial continues to foster creativity and inclusivity, making a lasting impact on both interior spaces and the broader community.
