B A F’s lucent surfaces range won the 2005 designEX product design award for Surface Finishes. The materials are a new way of communicating colour, defining space and changing the way we see things.

Panelite
Panelite is a patented panel based around a honeycomb core with translucent skins bonded to either side. All panels are translucent, light in weight, extremely strong and have high acoustic and thermal coeffi ecients. The Panelite range offers varying degrees of light transmission and visual privacy.
Lumicor
Lumicor combines the beauty of nature, fi ne textiles decorative papers, glass and metal with high performance
resins. Lumicorís unique aesthetic qualities empower designers and architects to transform any space with light, texture, colour and shape.
Mica
Either back-lit or mounted to a substrate, Mica provides a greater depth and texture within the interior space. Mica laminates are composed of natural mica splittings bound with fiberglass and shellac or vinyl resins. Mica panels can be cold-curved or thermoformed and can be laminated between glass for harder wearing applications.
