The Mammamia from Opinion Ciatti is available exclusively from Space Furniture.
August 8th, 2013
True to its form of supplying intensely unique and quality products, Space Furniture heralds the addition of Mammamia by Marcello Ziliani for Opinion Ciatti. Released at Salone de Mobile 2013, the Opinion Ciatti Mammamia chair comes in a number of options suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
The seat frame is produced in die-cast aluminium and structured in galvanised iron, painted with water-based paints. Versions include non-stackable, stackable, with or without armrests including in-office versions with four or five spokes with wheels and tilt.
Since the 1950s, the Ciatti family has been running the company that bears its name, and the business has evolved – and is still evolving – over three generations. Today Lapo Ciatti – the third generation – runs things alone, handling both the management and the artist side of the business.
The driving force behind it all is Lapo Ciatti’s passion for design, understood as a form of expression applied to common objects, and this passion has made an indelible impression on all phases of his life.
These are not just objects, but masterpieces that will stand out over time for their form and function. The Mammamia chair by Marcello Ziliani exemplifies this philosophy.
Space Furniture is a supplier that houses the highest-end brands and must-have pieces; playing a vital role in integrating international design into the local Australian design scene.
The collection also comes with a Mammamia Punk version with 398 studs applied to the back of the chair. Stud colours are coordinated with seat or available in a chrome finish.
