Melbourne lighting designer, Volker Haug, is flicking the right switch in the design world with his wacky creations.
You might call him a veteran in the lighting design world, having designed his first range at the age of ten. Granted the lights were fashioned from wood and completely flammable, at least the passion was there.

Melbourne designer, Volker Haug, has abandoned the road more traveled of past careers as a hairdresser and landscape gardener to realise that passion. Lighting design is his calling – and the world is hearing all about it.
Using old industrial materials to birth his querky design vision, the work is textbook contemporary and simply striking. Think transformers playing tetris and you’ll get the idea.
