Austral Bricks has teamed up with fashion icon Camilla Franks to bring a bold new collection.
December 3rd, 2014
Last Wednesday night, Austral Bricks hosted an intimate dinner to welcome in their new collection, designed in collaboration with Camilla Franks.
The collection, named From Mexico City to Oaxaca is inspired by Camilla’s recent travels through South America – the colonial grandeur and cobbled streets of Mexico City; the earthy tones of the Teotihuacan pyramids and Aztec treasures; the vivid symbolism of Frida Kahlo’s artworks; and the Spanish-infused culture of Coyoacan and Oaxaca.
“With Camilla’s eye for detail and distinctive design sensibility, we’ve created a dynamic new collection that really captures the vibrant colours and textures of Mexico,” says Brett Ward, General Manger Marketing Brickworks Building Products.
“The lush colours are well-suited to the Australian culture, climate and environment. We’re looking forward to seeing how Australian architects, designers and builders put the range to use in their new architectural projects,” Brett adds.
The warm and distinctive palette was designed to be long-lasting and adaptable for a range of contemporary projects.
