To celebrate the end of a design-filled day, 400 members of the industry elite gathered at the official Rado Saturday in Design Cocktail Party at Ottoman Cuisine in Walsh Bay.
August 4th, 2009
Official event partner Rado showed their support for the design community through their new creative website, radostar.com, at the same time. Guests included fashion designer, Akira Isogawa, SBS television presenter and personality, Lee Lin Chin and UK designer, Paul Cocksedge, as well as members and friends of the local design community.
Ottoman Cuisine served delectable Turkish-inspired morsels for guests to enjoy and the stylish restaurant was the perfect setting to wind down in with a flute or two of Veuve Clicquot. The water and harbour bridge provided a backdrop to the revelry, and also for the fireworks that surprised guests later that night (still trying to work out if they were part of the festivities or a lucky coincidence?…)
Beck’s beer and Poverty Hill Wines also kept the guests refreshed while they enjoyed tunes from the dj, the beautiful night and great company.
