Before this godforsaken year tapers to a close, it’s time to regroup as an industry and recalibrate our priorities. The (virtual) place to do so is at the 2020 Sustainability Summit.
After having commenced with a scorching reminder that in the changing state of our climate we are playing with fire, the topical agenda was soon hijacked by the events of this godforsaken year. Now it’s time to recalibrate our priorities and (virtually speaking) the 2020 Sustainability Summit is the place.
With a special keynote delivered by internationally-acclaimed guest speaker, Dr. Janis Birkeland, the 2020 Sustainability Summit has been designed to bring together dozens of academics, industry experts, and corporate specialists who will discuss, investigate and evaluate the most pressing issues around built environment sustainability currently affecting the industry and the country.
This year, there are five pertinent topics that are front of mind and top of the panel agenda:
This year, the Summit will be held online due to the pandemic, however for attendees this will prove to be an added bonus as this will ensure that the 2020 Sustainability Summit will now have the potential for a global audience and not just a national one as in previous years. So for just $99, attendees will be able to listen and interact over a full day of talks and discussions about the latest ideas and trends in sustainable as well as receiving 5 formal CPD points from the Australian Institute of Architects (AIA).
The 2020 Sustainability Summit will be held online on Thursday, November 12, with tickets available here.
The full list of this years’ panellists and more information about the Summit, including the day’s program, can be found here.
