Saturday in Design is almost here again, this year introducing an exciting new initiative called ’The Project’ – where select members of the design community will play key creative roles in this years event.

’The Project’ initiative has partnered some of Australia’s top architecture and design firms with participating showrooms in design collaborations at Saturday in Design, inviting them to install exciting environments within showrooms, using products to highlight the quality and creative possibilities they offer.

Viewers can expect to be captivated by realms of the virtual, the gravity defying, the edible, the interactive and the unbelievable.
So, as well as the usual activities revolving around Saturday in Design, Melbourne will house an excess of awe-inspiring installations and innovations, reflecting the city’s vibrant design culture and wealth of talent.
