The Pecha Kucha Night will light up Brisbane design again in 2008.
August 20th, 2008
Pecha Kucha, Japanese for ‘the sound of conversation’ is an event that brings together designers, artists, architects and interactive media for a series of short presentations.
An array of presenters from the Brisbane design community will present their designs, thoughts and ideas, with an aim to promote collaboration and interdisciplinary connections across disciplines.
The event was founded by Klein Dytham Architects in Tokyo in 2003 and has since spread internationally to over 80 cities.
The informal and licensed event will light up Brisbane on 18 September at the Turbine Hall of Brisbane Power House.
Pecha Kucha is an associated event of Brisbane in Design. To find out more and to register online to attend Brisbane in Design, visit the website.
