We’re excited to announce the judging panel of the 2012 Launch Pad program.
May 8th, 2012
The Launch Pad program returns in 2012, a literal launch pad for developing designers to put forth their concept and prototypes in a bid to have their designs realised.
This year the Launch Pad program is welcoming to the panel a group of 7 highly acclaimed judges representing a broad spectrum of design specialties and areas of expertise, to come together and review the 2012 Launch Pad entries.
The Judging panel will select a list of finalists to show their work in the Launch Pad Finalists’ Exhibition as part of Saturday in Design Melbourne (18 – 19 August 2012).
This year’s entrants have put their designs in the spotlight, right under the noses of the who’s who of design.
We would like to extend a warm welcome, and special thanks (in advance!), to this year’s Launch Pad judging panel. Meet them below…

London-based design duo Raw Edges have joined forces with Established & Sons and Tongue & Groove to introduce Wall to Wall – a hand-stained, “living collection” that transforms parquet flooring into a canvas of colour, pattern, and possibility.
The new range features slabs with warm, earthy palettes that lend a sense of organic luxury to every space.
For Aidan Mawhinney, the secret ingredient to Living Edge’s success “comes down to people, product and place.” As the brand celebrates a significant 25-year milestone, it’s that commitment to authentic, sustainable design – and the people behind it all – that continues to anchor its legacy.
Earp Bros and Porcelanosa Group present the most ecological parquet yet.
