The Creative Vibe design competition was launched in 2006 to entrants from Australia and New Zealand to recognise the potential of local designs to future industry growth.

This year, Gregory Commercial Furniture invited students to participate in a new student division of the awards, with contestants in the running to win a mentoring program with GCF house designer Kevin Brookes.

Daniel Virgona took out the student prize with his Alva design.
