Queensland design’s time to shine will be May 2012, when the state’s premier design event takes over Fortitude Valley and its surrounds.
November 11th, 2011
2011 saw Saturday in Design visit Sydney and, for the first time ever Singapore, as showrooms threw open their doors to the public on a fun, creative design-filled Saturday.
2012 sees the return of Brisbane Indesign, a day for the Sunshine State to celebrate its flourishing local talent.

With the support of the Queensland Government, we’re bringing the original Brisbane design event back to the city, uniting over 4000 of the most respected architecture and design professionals and the best new local and international products.

In a Brisbane first, 2012’s event will include The Project – letting local artists and designers join forces with exhibiting showrooms to create the weird and wonderful installations that we’ve all come to anticipate at Saturday in Design events.
We’re also mixing things up a bit with a brand-new initiative – we can’t reveal too much at this stage, but we can say it will take Brisbane Indesign to an all-new level, engaging the local fashion industry and showcasing the relationship between the thriving design and fashion industries.
Register your interest here to stay up to date on Brisbane Indesign developments as they happen, and ’Like’ us on Facebook to make sure you’re the first hear the latest.
We’ve got a lot more exciting news to come over the next few months – so stay tuned as we bring you more on Queensland’s much anticipated event, and the ultimate showcase of local creativity – Brisbane Indesign!
