Ishinomaki Laboratory embodies the culture of design and do-it-yourself, energised by a local community.

What began in 2011 as a common utility space for locals to repair damages caused by the 3.11 earthquake in Ishinomaki has transitioned into an independent workshop that creates well crafted products – some were recently exhibited at Milan Design Week.
