The UK-based, international awards gives its top prize to FEI Ultralounge in China, designed by Aoyama Nomura Design.

The Restaurant & Bar Design Awards, while based in the UK, has been handing out awards not just to stunning projects on its shores, but ones across the globe in the past six years that it has been running.
This year is not different. In fact, its two overall winners are from overseas, with the Best Overall Restaurant going to Les Haras in France, and Best Overall Bar going to FEI Ultralounge in China.
The latter caught our eye when it opened last year – conceived by Aoyama Nomura Design or A.N.D. for short, the interiors feature stunning lighting installations and dynamic, atmospheric space that seduce the senses.
Taking centrestage is a large, cold glass curtain wall covered in a film of warm light that can be sensitively manipulated to envelop guests in changing light. The result is a lounge that never ever stays the same. More on the story here.
