November 17th, 2015
When it comes to finding trendsetting designs for the residential, commercial and hospitality sectors in Hong Kong, many architects and designers turn to colourliving. The lifestyle concept store has been setting new standards in quality home living with its curated selection of designer home furnishings, accessories and kitchen and bathroom offerings.
Its showroom at Wan Chai spans over 20,000 square feet across three floors, and is regarded as one of Hong Kong’s premier destinations for stylish home concepts. As one of the exhibitors of Hong Kong Indesign, colourliving is opening up its showroom to members of the design industry. Some of the major brands on display include Armani/Roca, Dornbracht, Fendi Casa Ambiente Cucina and The Republic of Fritz Hansen.

During Hong Kong Indesign, colourliving will also be unveiling the highly anticipated 7 Stars x Fritz Hansen Series 7 collaboration at its showroom. Seven locally based design stars were invited to present their own twist on the iconic Series 7 chair, resulting in exciting yet unexpected design perspectives. The designers are Alan Chan, Dennis Chan, William Lim, SHANGHAI TANG, Joyce Wang, anothermountainman (Stanley Wong) and Douglas Young.

Series 7 by The Republic of Fritz Hansen
The Series 7 was first designed by legendary Danish architect and designer Arne Jacobsen in the ’50s, and has grown to become one of the most well-recognised furniture in the world. Sixty years since it was first conceived, Series 7 is now the most sold chair in Fritz Hansen’s history (and unfortunately, the most copied worldwide).
Aside from the special 7 Stars x Fritz Hansen Series 7 exhibition, colourliving will also be hosting the Design Conversations session LiveLife: “Urban Living – Rethinking our City” on Friday, 20 November from 2.30pm to 3.30pm. Seats sold out; click here to secure standing room tickets.
