1- The Good Design Forum: Design as Strategy is a symposium of design-led CEOs and innovators, ready to reveal strategies on revolutionising traditional ideas of business by design. Presented by Good Design Australia. May 28
2-The Good Design Festival celebrates great design and its impacts its impact in shaping a better Australia. Founded on the idea that design-led innovation creates better products and lives, the festival is a long-term initiative aimed at positioning Australia as a leading design and creative destination for design. 3-The 2015 Good Design Awards Gala Night is a celebration of the excellence in innovation and cutting edge design from both Australia and around the globe. The event is Australia’s longest standing design awards program, dating all the way back to 1958. May 29
4-How do we make cities work better for us? How should we make clearer demands for better-designed spaces with cultural value? And what strategies should be put in place for more sustainable futures? These questions and more will be discussed at a Vivid forum, Making Demands: How Do We Adjust Our Cities To Work For Us? The three-hour session incorporates a moderated panel and practical workshop sessions. May 26
5-The 2015 AUS Maker Design Awards celebrates everyone involved in the industry of making, ranging from those with artisan pursuits, to those in the ever-growing tech maker movement. With a focus on applied design the event is a celebration on the global design community. May 26
6-In 2015, why not join Object: Australian Design Centre as they launch an all-new space for Sydney’s design culture in Sydney. Part housewarming party and part Designers Gone Wild, the event is a live battle of rapid conversations. 9-SPARC International Lighting Event is Australia’s premier lighting event provides an opportunity to bring together the latest lighting technology and design to professionals.
