MillerKnoll and Estilo’s launch pays homage to the legacy of a global icon and the collaboration between brand and distributor.
September 25th, 2024
In August, the leafy streets of Adelaide played host to a launch event for one of the globe’s most notable design names, with MillerKnoll celebrating the latest evolution in its partnership with South Australian distributor: Estilo.
Itself a distinguished name in the local design scene, Estilo has supplied industry with a curated selection of residential and commercial furniture and lighting for the last 21 years. While Herman Miller has been among their range since 2018, the merger of Herman Miller with Knoll in 2021 has opened new opportunities for the distributor, who have added the MillerKnoll portfolio into their collection and cemented themselves as a premium design destination.

This new chapter was marked with a launch event in Estilo’s showroom, where the space was transformed into an experiential exploration through MillerKnoll’s rich history, innovative approach to design, commitment to sustainability, and dedication to people. With over 120 of Adelaide’s design industry leaders in attendance, and sumptuous catering from Masterchef alumni Callum Hann, the evening was a testament to the merging of the local and the global, commemorating the arrival of an international force to a homegrown favourite.
“The launch event at Estilo was a fantastic opportunity to introduce the design community in Adelaide to the breadth and depth of MillerKnoll’s offering. This event is just the beginning as we continue to roll out similar experiences across Australia, ensuring that each of our dealers can showcase what makes MillerKnoll unique,” says Josh Coughlan, MillerKnoll Regional Sales Manager of Australia.

As a MillerKnoll Dealer, Estilo will now provide the South Australian design scene with direct access to some of the world’s most iconic and innovative pieces that embody the collective’s commitment to sustainability, innovation, and design excellence. From ergonomic office solutions to stylish home furnishings, Estilo will be a one-stop destination for those seeking the very best in modern design, featuring brands such as Herman Miller, Knoll, Muuto, NaughtOne, and more.
“Our journey with Herman Miller has been incredibly rewarding, and we are thrilled to continue this journey as part of the MillerKnoll family,” said Lucy Visconti, Estilo Managing Director. “This transition allows us to offer an even wider range of innovative and high-quality design solutions to our clients, helping them create inspiring and functional spaces.”

After such a successful launch event – the first of its kind for MillerKnoll in Australia – the international design house is set to take the concept across the country, with each MillerKnoll dealer in line to host the unique experience. And if the launch with Estilo is anything to go by, Australian design professionals are set for a night to remember, with the chance to immerse themselves in the history, and future, of the most iconic collection of furniture brands across the globe.
