Shortlist revealed – The Work Space

While recent years have seen incredible changes in the way we work, the shortlisted projects in The Work Space category of the 2023 INDE.Awards are perfect proof that working from the office is the best place to be these days.

There are various types of workplace projects in the shortlist, from adaptive reuse to renovations and new builds. However, in many cases, it is the transformation from old to new that is showcased as the best way forward for design. Through clever and imaginative concepts, the past is made ready for future work, and with technology and sustainability in the mix, the results are a credit to the architects and designers who have envisaged a building’s new life.

While working from home and hybrid working are still on the agenda, these 12 projects present places with outstanding design that resonates with employees. They also provide facility and structure to the working life and promote health and wellbeing – all with ingenuity and in some cases a touch of daring. They are all conceived to connect staff to each other, enhance the working life and help people enjoy the office once more.

The Work Space category showcases the cutting edge design that resides in the Indo-Pacific region, but more than this, they are places made for people to work, meet and connect in the very best ways possible. Congratulations to all on the shortlist, each project is a great achievement.

Winners for the 2023 INDE.Awards will be announced on 10 August 2023 at the INDE.Awards Gala in Sydney and broadcast online around the globe.
