Design for the future: the biggest student furniture design competition in the world is currently accepting entries for 2009.

Entries are now being taken for the International Design Award 2009, organised by Hettich and REHAU.
As the world’s largest design competition for students, winners of this global contest will be flown to Germany for the massive ceremony, during the Interzum festival, May 2009.
The design challenge is to develop furniture, furniture systems or new functions and materials for the year 2020.
Designs of furniture and/or construction are accepted from any tertiary education centre, in any country. October 31 2008 is the final date for registration.
