CDK Stone offer an extensive range within the Natural Stone Collection and the effect of applying a vast amount of stone in one space creates a majestical atmosphere one that exudes luxury and class.
This can be seen in their most recent installation of CDK Stone for the One One One Eagle Street project in collaboration with Cox Rayner Architects.
One One One Eagle is possibly the first high-rise tower in the world for which the structure is based upon organic design principles. This 54 storey office tower is located in Brisbane’s CBD and the organic nature of the structure facilitated an enticing foyer for an impressive application of stone.
It is not a costless structure devised for aesthetic purposes, but to solve particular constraints specific to its site. It generates, however, an architecture that is distinctly responsive to context, both natural and built.
The base consists of two levels, the upper of these providing access to the core, enabling the lower level to act as an internal public plaza. It will facilitate pedestrian movement from the ferry terminal in front of the Riverside centre through into the city, the aim being to contribute to and enrich the public realm of the city.
CDK Stones devotion to achieving premium finishes for both commercial and residential application sees their brand continue to develop and also continue to collaborate with architects and clients alike.
CDK’s custom Natural Stone collection has a point of difference and that is, the stone is sourced from the depths of Italy’s natural resources and transported here to ensure only the best quality.
