Colour, elegance and versatility are the names of the game for the new Pedrali collections – summer can’t come soon enough!
The winter is now behind us and summer is in the air – which means long relaxing afternoons outdoors relaxing in the open air. For the designer, the latest outdoor trends are more and more refined and sought-after, a fashion that also affects materials and technologies they are made with.
Pedrali has responded to this with a suite of new outdoor collections, previewed at the 56th edition of the Salone del Mobile fair in Milan, which have contributed to enrich the already wide range of the Italian company.
Among these are standout Giravolta, designed by Basaglia Rota Nodari. A wireless rechargeable lighting solution that is distinguished by a contemporary and stylish design – easy to carry and perfect to light up nocturnal summer cocktail evenings, it has a swiveling diffuser which directs the light making it even more versatile.
An elegant three-seat sofa, a lounge armchair and a sun lounger convertible into a sofa: Reva by Patrick Jouin is an outdoor collection with smooth lines and generous sizes that calls to mind relaxing and dreamy sensations. Particularly suitable to make unforgettable the guest staying in a hotel and to favour their relax near a pool edge, Reva gives concrete form to the idea of versatility turning from a comfortable sun lounger into an elegant sofa.
Sunset, designed by Alessandro Busana, recalls relaxing and romantic sensations in name and form. Comprising an armchair and two-seat sofa, these wide seatings envelope and give a sense of protection while still being extremely comfortable. Note the clear space under the seat that allows free movement of the legs.
A final highlight is the Dome collection of seating, designed by Odo Fioravanti. The recent winner won the prestigious Wallpaper* Design Awards for 2017. You can count on the sinuous and elegant shapes of Dom to make for a cozy place to sit, or to fit out a space with style.
