A lighthouse on the coast of Brittany is the inspiration behind Ionna Vautrin’s delightful ’Binic’ table lamp.
February 8th, 2011
Binic is the name of a lighthouse on the coast of Ionna Vautrin’s native Brittany, and the designer’s latest product for Foscarini is a mini beacon of light.
The lamp’s form is based on the wind socks of ships.
Vautrin has incorporated an almost cartoon-like shape which gives it an engaging character, like a compact reading-companion.
Binic is available in 6 colours – white, green, amaranth, orange, petrol, and grey – to suit any personality and any decor.
Binic is available in Australia through Space Furniture.
