JamFactory has developed a new Furniture Collection that includes some of Australia’s most celebrated designers and a selection of emerging training Associates.

The JamFactory Furniture Collection is the latest initiative from the company to support its aim of raising awareness and stimulating opportunities for Australian design and craftsmanship.
The collection offers furniture and lighting’s been developed under direction of Jon Goulder, one of Australia’s leading designers and current JamFactory Furniture head. The Collection is being launched with a range of pieces designed by some of Australia’s best-known designers and talented young up and comers.
“The Collection will create opportunities for our training Associates, from pitching new designs for consideration through to hands-on involvement in design development, prototyping and presenting works to market” says Goulder
Celebrated designers Adam Goodrum, Karen Cunningham, Henry Wilson and South Australian duo Daniel Emma, have been enlisted for the introductory collection, illustrating the seriousness and ambition of this new initiative.
The emerging designers featured are Rhys Cooper, who studied furniture at the University of Tasmania before coming to JamFactory, and Daniel Tucker, who came out of the Industrial Design program at UTS in Sydney.
JamFactory’s CEO Brian Parkes says, “Along with creating real market opportunities for Australian designers, the Collection will eventually contribute to retaining skills and growing jobs in the value-added manufacturing sector in South Australia.”
