London’s Clerkenwell Design Week (CDW), in its fourth outing, is set to host over 150 designers, manufacturers and brands from Britain and across the globe this May.

In addition to the fifty-strong community of furniture showrooms, the area is home to myriad historical buildings. Clerkenwell lends itself as the perfect backdrop for the exposition of the latest from the contemporary design scene. The juxtaposition of all that is new and emerging showcased in these significant spaces makes for an evocative and inspiring experience.

With an enhanced format in 2013, CDW boasts increased exhibition spaces, an array of curated projects and a rolling programme of talks and seminars from leading design experts, the three-day festival is firmly established as one of the most influential and innovative events on the international design calendar.

With all the excitement of emerging design on show, the big names are loath to miss out: Knoll, Vitra, Brintons Carpets, Haworth, Arper, Domus Tiles, EMU, Muuto and many more will all be at CDW.
