A stunning indoor space reveals artistry in every aspect, from outlook to underfoot.

Ombre – 1700 Cola & 5300 Base Latte
November 11th, 2025
The new Moda collection from Feltex by GH Commercial expresses this sensibility impeccably, with the dynamic talents of Lorena Gaxiola woven into an inspiring range of carpets and carpet tiles.
Gaxiola is an internationally-acclaimed architect and interior designer, based in Sydney, where she heads up an all-female team of multitalented creatives. She brings an international perspective to the artistry of product, infusing the sophistication of Europe, the opulence of Asia and the pragmatism of Australian traditions into each design.

Moda by Lorena Gaxiola lends itself to spaces where sensory delight needs to be matched by resilience and durability. The fashion-forward geometries and interplay of hues and visual textures lend themselves to spaces where the horizontal plane aims to both draw the eye and please the body.
Three distinctive patterns – Check, Marble and Ombre – create opportunities for fresh approaches to the texturing and adornment of indoor spaces.
Check offers a tailored geometry with a playful element of boldness and structure that lends an air of solidity and rhythm. In Marble, an organic interplay of hues summons echoes of ripples and shimmers of light, water, sand and fabric.
Designed to complement the Colour Theory range, Ombre, with its gradient artistry mimics the fall of light and shade while allowing designers to create seamless transitions between the solid hues of Colour Theory carpet tiles and the tonal shifts of Ombre. Spaces can be composed with the interplay of colour, texture and intent, creating intuitive wayfinding and customised zoning approaches.

These three unique, compelling designs can be interpreted in a wide range of colours, whether its subtle earth tones or a bright, bold palette to expand the boundaries of the possible in delivering unique environments. These are canvases for living, artistry underfoot that can enrich offices, educational environments, hospitality, retail or other high-traffic, high value settings.
The thoughtful scale, proportionality and vitality of the creations also mean they will be welcomed by both traditionalists and those looking to express an original and creative edge in their surroundings.
Because the true test of great art is its lasting nature, every carpet and carpet tile in the Moda Collection is crafted to the highest standards of quality, with the creative scheme manufactured using GH Commercial’s Designer Jet® technology.
This method enables optimised design flexibility, combining colour, texture and fabrication to tell a story that brings space together and imbues it with warmth, purpose and presence.
Designer Jet® technology also enables clients to channel emotion, illuminate identity and express a narrative through the conceptual vision. Colour options are almost limitless, and the rendering of the finest details of an intricate pattering such as Ombre, Marble or Check retains the creative integrity and genius of the designer.

This is the third collaboration between Feltex and Lorena Gaxiola, and it builds on the exceptional success and reputation of the earlier seasons.
The first Lorena Gaxiola x Feltex Collection was both commercially successful and recognised by the design industry as an exemplar for creativity, quality and sustainability. It was recognised at the Better Future Sydney Design Awards 2023 and the Better Future Australia Awards 2024 winning Gold in the Best Product Design – Commercial and Industry category. The award criteria celebrated creative and innovative design, with considerations including aspects relating to human usage, aesthetics, selection of components and materials, and the resolution of assembly, manufacturing and the overall function.
For the collaborators, and for GH Commercial and Feltex clients, the awards also demonstrate that when the talents of an exceptional interior designer and architectural talent are combined with a proud legacy of quality manufacturing and flooring innovation, excellence is the result.
