The designer and architect will be travelling to Asia this month to launch his first furniture collection for Pierantonio Bonacina.
September 7th, 2011
Piero Lissoni will be making a whirlwind tour of Asia, starting in Shanghai and concluding in Singapore on 30 September, to present his outdoor/indoor Pallet furniture collection for Pierantonio Bonacina.
In 2010, Pierantonio Bonacina became part of the Matteograssi Group, a significant and well-made move considering the similar emphasis that both Italian houses place on product research, and their uncompromising attention to detail and material selection.
Already a long-time Matteograssi collaborator, Lissoni began work with Pierantonio Bonacina soon after on a new range of furniture for the outdoor/indoor environments, which made its official debut at the Milan fair in April.
With Pallet, Lissoni places particular focus on functionality, natural beauty and sustainability, and has designed an extensive offering that includes regular and over-sized sofas with fabric covered cushions and wooden frames, wooden tables and low tables, as well as wicker chairs and armchairs.
Piero Lissoni will be presenting his collection in Singapore at Dream Interiors.
