Glen Raven Custom Fabrics introduces the industry’s first awning and shade fabrics with recycled content.
June 10th, 2013
Launched recently by Glen Raven Custom Fabrics, Sunbrella® Renaissance Unity Fabrics is a sustainable product containing 50 per cent post-industrial recycled Sunbrella fibre. The innovative material used results in a canvas that has a vintage appearance while still retaining all of Sunbrella’s legendary fade resistance and sun protection qualities.
“The exciting thing about the new Unity awning and shade fabrics is that they not only have a wonderful environmental story, but they also bring a new look and feel to Sunbrella awning fabrics,” said Vince Hankins, Industrial Business Manager for Glen Raven Custom Fabrics.
The initial launch of Unity fabrics includes five solid colours designed to coordinate with a variety of exterior building trim and fascia materials.
