Get ready to step into the future of design and innovation as the countdown begins for the Metaverse Architecture Biennale set to take place from September 21st to 24th this year.
August 8th, 2023
Titled Presence of the Future, the Metaverse Architecture Biennale will unite visionary architects, designers and creators from across the globe to showcase the transformative potential of architecture in reshaping Web3 and the Metaverse as a thriving platform for business and culture.
Inspired by the Venice Biennale and Expo, the Metaverse Architecture Biennale promises a spectacle of virtual pavilions and and immersive landscapes crafted by luminaries such as Killa Design, LAVA, PLP Architecture, and ATRIUM, among others. These visionary creators are set to redefine the very fabric of the Metaverse, and they will be joined by some 15 exceptional designers chosen through a global open call for the event.
But this is not just another virtual gathering. Decentraland and W3rlds, two of the most influential metaverse platforms, will transform into dynamic venues for the occasion. Attendees will teleport seamlessly between these worlds, delving into virtual realms, interactive exhibits, and forging connections with a vibrant global community of creators. The best part? This digital design extravaganza is open and free to all, requiring only a computer to join in on the digital action.
The Metaverse Architecture Biennale promises to be a visionary initiative, providing a platform to demonstrate the innovative potential of the Metaverse and explore its impact on various industries. Over the course of four days, attendees will engage with thought-provoking pavilions, participate in cultural and entertainment events, attend captivating talks and lectures, and discover cutting-edge solutions for businesses in the Metaverse. Experts from the architecture, Metaverse, design, and marketing industries will contribute to the enriching experience.
With an expected attendance of over 50,000 visitors and the participation of ten major companies, the event presents a unique opportunity to contribute to Web3 technologies and gain exposure to a global audience. An open call for virtual creators has already been launched to discover global talents and provide them a platform to showcase their projects alongside the industry giants at the Biennale.
The Metaverse Architecture Biennale organising team, consisting of W3rlds, Dearch Space, Metancy, and Web3 Digital Marketing, are committed to pushing the boundaries of creativity and innovation, passionately embracing emerging technologies.
As the event approaches, organisers promise various activations to familiarise the audience with metaverse platforms, Web3 technologies, and the exciting world of virtual architecture and design.
