Each year, the IDT Expo works closely with Business of Design Week and the Partner Country to offer a week-long programme of thematic exhibitions, conferences, forums, roundtables, networking, functions and fringe activities targeting both the trade and general public. In 2015, Barcelona will be the first-ever Partner City of the IDT Expo.
IDT Expo will showcase around 400 exhibitors from Barcelona, mainland China, Israel, Japan, Korea, Mexico, The Netherlands, Poland, Switzerland, Taiwan, UAE and more.
Thematic trade halls will cover areas such as 3D Printing Solutions, Applied Technology Solutions, Green and Eco-Friendly Solutions and more, while the Inspiration halls will feature Design Education and Global Innovation, among others.
Ideas and Trends Seminars will cover topics such as “Revitalising Local Economy via Japanese Design” and “Integrating Design Into Brand Strategy, and What?”.
In a series of forums, exhibitors will share latest business solutions related to design, branding and applied technology for enterprises to enhance their business competitiveness in the market.
In addition, Inno Talks in the Inspiration halls will feature leading names of the local and international creative industries. They will explore topics to do with creativity, lifestyle and even areas such as social media marketing strategies.
