Australian furniture brand, King Living presents the Issho Dining Table Range: a collection that champions great design, functionality and versatility in the way we dine.
The dining room provides a sensory experience – one that feeds the heart and soul, as much as it does our stomachs. Not just a food offering, it is more than a space to enjoy a meal; giving individuals a moment to relax, connect and socialise with one another in an inviting and comforting environment. The role of great design is prominent in elevating the everyday dining experience – one that Australian furniture brand, King Living acknowledges through their range of exceptional dining products.
The leading furniture brand recognises the importance of a welcoming dining room that’s perfect for intimate dinners or entertaining a large group of family and friends. This year, King Living unveils the new Issho Dining Table Range. Made for every occasion, Issho is a a table that is both distinctively beautiful as it is functional.
The Issho Table puts versatility at the forefront with a table system designed with a series of repeated ‘fins’ that form the sculptural base. Each individual fin can connect to the table top in a range of facing configurations, dramatically transforming the structure’s sense of volume and space. Inspired by the Japanese meaning of Issho, which translated means ‘together,’ the individual fins are a reflection of both the structure and the social function of dining tables as a space where people come together.
Meticulous craftsmanship is imbued through the DNA of Issho. Robust and artful, Issho’s expansive circular table top design can seat up to 6 people comfortably and up to parties of 8 or more where settings can be slightly shuffled. Crafted in natural timber, the materiality of the table adds another layer of tactility and comfort to the dining experience. The legs are designed in a structural foam moulded around a steel spine, giving the fins a lightweight and dynamic appearance for easy formation when modifying the setting.
The Issho Dining Table Range by King Living brings a sense of sophistication and elegance to the dining room with its timeless, curved form inspiring the way you dine.
