BMW GINA Light Visionary Model Revealed

Watch VIDEO footage here of the latest BMW.

The world took it's first look at the highly anticipated BMW GINA Light Visionary Model last week (June 12th), when it was revealed via video on 'utube'.

The video embeded below shows the car being installed in the BMW Museum in Munich. The futuristic design shows how car designers are starting to step away from the conventional materials that make up a car.

GINA stands for "Geometry and Functions in 'N' Adaptations". The GINA Light Visionary Model's outer skin is made entirely of textile fabric, pulled taut around a frame of metal wires. The skeleton of the car is controlled by electro-hydraulic devices and move and change shape beneath the fabric skin.
