The rich culture of Cuba is the inspiration behind this new design from Ivan Woods.
February 29th, 2012
“The bold form of the Cuban is a reflection of the spirit of its namesake’s culture and the richness of the character of its people,” says designer Ivan Woods of his latest piece for Schiavello, the Cuban table.
The design evokes the beauty of Cuba in its heyday and adds a contemporary spin. A thick, pebble-shaped top sits on 3 solid legs at angles, placed asymmetrically beneath.
Solid American Oak or Walnut gives the piece an air of elegance, designed to age gracefully and leave a lasting legacy.
The tabletop is available in a painted finish for a relaxed but refined look.
